As reported in Part Two, we have been busy making necessary database modifications to implement the GASB 67/68 reporting standards into our data set.  Initially, we provided pension-related data fields to accommodate both Single/Multi-Employer Agent plans and the Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plans for the City, County and School District sectors.  In Part Two, we provided pension-related data fields to accommodate both Single/Multi-Employer Agent plans and the Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plans for the State sector.

We are now pleased to be providing a break out of Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plan information to its own database (plan) level in CreditScope.  By providing Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plan information as its own entity (versus gathering various salient statistics to be displayed/used in other credit entities), then associating each Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plan with its relevant credit entities, a given credit’s funded ratio can now be derived.  This new offering is currently relevant to credits falling in the City, County, School District and State sectors.

To see these new Multi-Employer Cost Sharing plans as their own entity, as well as the newly derived funded ratio in CreditScope, a CreditScope System Update with a Build number of 1320 or higher is necessary.
